Gallery selection: Dana Schutz at David Zwirner

Perhaps it's a coincidence, but Dana Schutz's recent works are in Paris, right when the "Surrealism" exhibition is being held at the Centre Pompidou. They wouldn't be out of place there, as they are so confusing to interpret. In large formats, the Brooklyn-based painter depicts complete or incomplete human figures, female or male, most often macrocephalic.
