Ruth Asawa: Retrospective

The Guggenheim Bilbao presents Ruth Asawa: Retrospective, the third leg of the artist's major travelling retrospective. The exhibition was previously on view at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Ruth Asawa: Retrospective is an exhibition partnership between the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) and the Museum of Modern Art, New York (MoMA). This final presentation in Spain was developed in collaboration with the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. The exhibition is co-curated by Janet Bishop, Thomas Weisel Family Chief Curator, SFMOMA, and Cara Manes, Associate Curator, Department of Painting and Sculpture, MoMA, in collaboration with Geaninne Gutiérrez-Guimarães, Curator, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
